Chanting is a rhythmical repetition (either silently or aloud) of a song, prayer, word or sound. It is one of the most ancient spiritual practices and a part of most religions and spiritual paths.
We welcome you to join us to chant sacred mantras and songs from many traditions and discover for yourself the healing power in this ancient practice.

Because of the COVID-19 restrictions we will be limiting the numbers to 15, so you will need to book in advance if you would like to attend in person. Otherwise, we will offer it live and online over zoom.

"Chanting is a way of getting in touch with yourself. It's an opening of the heart and letting go of the mind and thoughts. It deepens the channel of grace, and it's a way of being present in the moment." Krishna Das
From September 2020, we will begin hosting monthly chanting evenings over Zoom at the usual time of 7-8pm, with some possibility to join us in our home. You can use a computer, laptop or phone - easy to access.

What does Bhakti Yoga involve?
Our practice is to gather together and using the healing power of our voices, we sing devotional chants and mantras and meditate, which moves us into our hearts and to the awareness of love that is our true nature.
Chanting, especially with others, is known to calm the mind, allowing us to let go of anxious thoughts and worries and brings us to a place of peace and clarity. You do not need any experience in singing or meditation, everyone is welcome.
Lucia has a passion for sacred chants and mantras and the power of the human voice to connect us to each other, to the divine in each of us and to the one voice of the heart. Lucia holds a warm, safe and healing space, one where you can discover the voice of your soul.
