Bhakti Yoga – Chant and Meditation

What is Bhakti Yoga?

Bhakti Yoga is the path "union through love and devotion." It is one of the systems of Yoga and to practice Bhakti Yoga is to having an experience of oneness with everything. The Sanskrit word bhakti comes from the root word bhaj, which means “to adore or worship God.”

What does Bhakti Yoga involve?

Our practice is to gather together and using the healing power of our voices, we sing devotional chants and mantras and meditate, which moves us into our hearts and to the awareness of love that is our true nature.

Chanting, especially with others, is known to calm the mind, allowing us to let go of anxious thoughts and worries and brings us to a place of peace and clarity. You do not need any experience in singing or meditation, everyone is welcome.

Lucia has a passion for sacred chants and mantras and the power of the human voice to connect us to each other, to the divine in each of us and to the one voice of the heart. Lucia holds a warm, safe and healing space, one where you can discover the voice of your soul.

The class will be held monthly on the last Sunday of each month.

Venue:  All classes on-line for the moment, using Zoom. Contact me for the link. You can use a computer, laptop or phone - easy to access.

Time: 6-7pm

Cost: 12 euro per class (10 euro pre-booked)
